Blueberry Bubba Cookies: A Personal Review of a patient’s attempt at hybridization and grow/harvest!
I recently had the pleasure of sampling Blueberry Bubba Cookies, a unique cannabis strain that has quickly become one of my favorites. This particular batch was generously shared by a passionate medical grower who, while preferring to remain unnamed, was very proud of his work and eager for others to experience the fruits of his labor.

First Impressions:
The first thing that struck me about Blueberry Bubba Cookies was its delightful aroma. As soon as I opened the jar, I was greeted with a sweet, berry scent that immediately reminded me of fresh blueberries. There were also subtle hints of earthiness and spice, creating a complex and inviting fragrance. The buds themselves were dense and covered in a generous coating of trichomes, showcasing a mix of deep greens and purples with vibrant orange pistils.
When it came to taste, Blueberry Bubba Cookies did not disappoint. On the inhale, I experienced a rich, sweet flavor reminiscent of blueberry pie, complete with a slightly creamy undertone. As I exhaled, the taste evolved into a pleasant combination of earthy and herbal notes, leaving a lingering sweetness on the palate. It’s a strain that truly engages the senses, making each session a memorable one.
In terms of its cannabinoid profile, Blueberry Bubba Cookies is quite potent. The THC content typically ranges between 20-25%, providing a strong, yet manageable high. This batch also contained a modest amount of CBD, around 1%, which helps to balance the psychoactive effects of THC and adds to the strain’s therapeutic benefits. Notable terpenes in this strain include myrcene, caryophyllene, and pinene. Myrcene contributes to the sedative and relaxing effects, caryophyllene offers anti-inflammatory properties, and pinene helps with focus and alertness.
The lineage of Blueberry Bubba Cookies is impressive, combining the genetics of Blueberry, Bubba Kush, and Girl Scout Cookies. Blueberry brings its signature fruity aroma and relaxing effects, Bubba Kush adds its potent sedative properties, and Girl Scout Cookies contributes to the strain’s well-rounded, euphoric high.
From a medicinal perspective, Blueberry Bubba Cookies offers a range of benefits. I found it particularly effective for alleviating stress and anxiety, thanks to its calming and uplifting effects. It also provided significant pain relief, making it a great option for those dealing with chronic pain or inflammation. Additionally, this strain can be helpful for individuals struggling with insomnia, as it promotes a deep and restful sleep.
Overall, Blueberry Bubba Cookies is a standout strain that excels in both flavor and effect. It’s a versatile choice for both recreational and medicinal users, offering a balanced high that can be enjoyed at any time of day. I’m grateful to the dedicated grower who shared this exceptional strain, and I highly recommend giving it a try if you have the opportunity.
