Durban Poison is among the world’s most popular Sativa cannabis strains. Its popularity comes with several questions that people would like to be answered… In particular, its usefulness
SATIVA SATISFACTION!
SIMILAR to the JAFFA BERRY STRAIN, DURBAN POISON HAS VERY STIMULATING EFFECTS – MUCH LIKE CAFFEINE. Quite honestly, Durban Poison is one of my top Sativa favorites. I don’t get brain fog or feel groggy when I consume it. Rather, I find this strain makes me feel like a “TASK TROJAN” – seriously! It’s like my clicks into overdrive and makes getting busy – easy!
LANDRACE STRAIN
Which means it hasn’t been crossbred with any other cannabis strains – A pure Sativa with an exceptionally intoxicating taste vaped & combusted.
DURBAN POISON IS SWEET TASTING with a spicy-sweet earthy aroma. The dominant terpene D-Limonene is responsible for the combination of lemon, orange, and fennel smells.
Medical uses
- Depression
- Anxiety
- ADD/ADHD
Cannabinoids and terpenes in Durban Poison
There are thousands of cannabis chemovars out there, and no real standards as to how to identify them — basically anyone can grow anything and call it whatever they want. In other words — there are better ways to choose a strain than on the name alone.
EASY GYO
Growing this strain is relatively easy. Although it thrives outdoors, it can be grown indoors too – either way – she’s worth the effort!
A FEW NOTES I’VE TAKEN… Durban poison seems to be quite resistant to mold and disease. Outdoors she can get to be 7 or 8 feet tall and definitely requires pruning to ensure the bottom branches and buds get enough sunlight. She thrives and does exceptionally well in sunny and warm climates, where the temperatures are between 65 to 85 °F. Optimal growing conditions and this SWEET SATIVA can produce up to a pound per plant or better.
I’m a fan – how about you?
